Unfortunately, our system has a problem that means that when some people change their addresses on the website, their subscriptions still go to the old address. After much troubleshooting, we don’t have a way to solve this beyond advising people that when they move addresses, they should end their current subscriptions and re-subscribe with a new address and account.

We send out subscriber copies of the newspaper every 3 months when the new issue comes out. To do it every time there is a new subscriber would mean having to employ a full-time distributor, which we don’t have the financial resources to do. Yes! Although we often ask people who don’t live in the UK if they have the financial means to give more than the basic £3 a month tier, as the cost of postage for posting abroad is often so much money that we lose money on foreign orders.

DOPE Magazine Community Interest company is the legal body which runs DOPE Magazine. As of July 2024, DOPE magazine is published by Solidarity Economy Association after being set up and published for 6 years by Dog Section Press.

Yes! There are two ways to do this:

1. You can subscribe on behalf of someone else by putting their address when you subscribe.

2. Or you can do a limited subscription (like a one-year subscription) as a gift via Patreon.

DOPE has two key distribution points, with several other smaller points.

The main points are:

People’s Republic of Stokes Croft, 14 Hillgrove St, Bristol BS2 8JT. Mon-Sat – 11.00-18.00

We also have smaller distribution points in Edinburgh, Stroud and Norwich.

We print roughly 35,000 copies per issue of DOPE Magazine. But we want to do more- subscribe or share the option of subscribing with your friends and family to give us the financial resources to expand our reach.

You can cancel your subscription by logging in to the website and using the login details you created when you set up your subscription to get into your account. From there you can cancel your subscription.
